This two-day training provides a clear, practical overview of how to plan and carry out building commissioning for MEP systems in new projects and existing facilities. The course follows industry practices based on ASHRAE standards and covers the full commissioning workflow—from defining project requirements and reviewing designs to testing systems, documenting results, and handing over to operations.
Participants will learn how commissioning improves system performance, energy use, occupant comfort, and long-term operating costs. The course explains key tasks such as writing commissioning plans, coordinating with design and construction teams, verifying HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and control systems, and resolving deficiencies during construction and startup.
The training also introduces recommissioning and continuous commissioning as tools to fix performance issues in existing buildings and support better asset management.
